Saad Zaidi is presently working as a Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, California.  Saad received his M.S. degree in Telecommunications from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette in 1996 and his B.Sc degree in Electronics Engineering from AMU, India in 1992.
He, in his current role is the lead engineer for a major operator projects as well as the lead for specialized wireless performance optimization projects for major, high profile sporting events. He specializes in 3G/4G network deployment and optimization services and 3G/4G training to global wireless operators. He has two patents filed in the areas of CDMA Better System Reselection and security. Prior to joining Qualcomm in 1998, he worked as a design engineer with LCC International, Inc in Virginia where he led multiple wireless deployment projects in North America on the optimization of the Nextel iDEN system and PageNet’s One-Way paging system based on FLEX technology in Northeastern U.S markets.
