We are team Doers , the official team for Baja event from Aligarh Muslim University. Baja is an international engineering design competition in which a team is tasked to design , fabricate and test an All Terrain Vehicle . The event is organised by SAE-International (www.bajasaeindia.org) in association with Industrial giants like Mahindra,Varroc, Polaris and Many more. The team has already qualified the Virtual design presentation round securing 31st rank of 400 participating teams beating likes of IIT's and NIT's . In our previous appearances , we managed to get applause from international automobile experts . We also stood runner up in "Mahindra Design Quotient" Award -2013 . This year a team of 20 dedicated automobile enthusiastic from different disciples of engineering is working on this project . For the very first time complete research was carried on the existing industrial parameters of automobile industry . Driver Safety , Ergonomics and NVH Considerations are given much importance . Complete industrial parameters are followed that involves pre-CAD designing in advanced softwares like SIEMENS-NX CAE-Analysis was carried on Ansys Workbench for checking on the stress concentration and maximum deformation in our project.  Self designed Matlab programmes and Optimum Kinematics are also used to build an highly engineered vehicle . Also a long study was carried out locating all the flaws in our previous baja bugs .
